I highly recommend Hostel Alamo. Great prices, location, super helpful staff, good breakfast and well-equipped kitchen. The rooms are charming with fans, a/c, cable television and wifi in the rooms (a tad weak though, and not available in some). Rooms are a tad dry, but this is Mendoza afterall. We stayed here and think it has probably been our favorite hostel. Great beds, wifi,help, storage, kitchen, chilled out and close to shops & nightlife it really has everything

there we were, stuck in Mendoza, but the people of this hostel made it bearable to stick around. Super friendly attentive staff, although we had the smallest room (still ok) and a miniature bathroom everything was ok! breakfast is basic Argentinian style.
