I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel on our tour especially as it was our first stop in Argentina after a 10.5 hour trip crossing the Andes from Chile, first impressions its a really smart looking hotel, it goes downhill from hereon check in staff didnt break a smile no offer of help with luggage just pointed... Dear Mr. Bigbear122: First of all, thank you very much for spending a few minutes writing your opinion. If it's a good comment, it's excellent to hear about our good job. But sometimes, when someone had a bad experience, like you had, we focus in our guest service, and apply improvements for our service quality. As we always do, I... More

Excellent welcome, great staff, beautiful and well appointed room with a view of the Andes, great breakfast, free wine tasting from 6-7 every evening, fantastic restaurant, central location a few steps from Sarmiento. you cannot go wrong with this hotel. Locals say it is the second best hotel in Mendoza after the Park Hyatt. During my stay, the football team of Chile was staying at the hotel with enhance security for a few days. The location is very good, about 4 blocks away from the plaza independencia. The breakfast buffet has a good selection included scramble eggs, bacon, potatoes and... More

This hotel is a great value in the center of Mendoza. We prefered Mendoza city to the Valley del Lujo area as Mendoza is a very walkable "city" and Valley de Lujo requires a car or a remise. You can easily stroll to a number of boutique restaurants and wine shops from this hotel- Azafran, Florintino Bistro, Siete Cocinas, etc.... More

Great, modern hotel in downtown Mendoza. The rate was excellent value for money, the rooms are huge and the view from our room spectacular, with the Andes in the distance. The hotel also has a spa, gym and pool - although as others have commented the pool is a little on the small size. The lobby is particularly eye-catching -... More

Pulling up to the Diplomatic, you know you're staying somewhere plush! A very grand entryway for a very grand entrance. We had a triple room with views of the Andes that blew my mind every time I looked out the window. The bathroom was a clear cubical looking into the room but luckily curtains provided sufficient privacy. Nice touches in... More

Good hotel, professional staff, the best location you can ask for. Nice rooms with huge, comfy beds. Quite poor breakfast selection. Small pool area - pool with extremely cold water, probable straight from the Andes :)

Stayed here with my family for three nights while we visited bodegas in Mendoza. Booked on-line and were stunned when we saw this hotel - it's really beautiful from the lobby to the restaurant and rooms. the staff were friendly and professional.

Spent 4 nights here after driving from Vina Del Mar through Los Andes. Excellent service right from the check in, valet service, very smooth and friendly service and all the staff spoke some English to compliment our rudimentary Spanish. Wine tasting in early evening is a nice touch and gratis. La Bourgnone Restaurant is very very good for an evening... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our anniversary although we are an American couple living in Mendoza. We booked a standard city-view room online at a great rate, and upon arrival at the hotel, were informed at check-in that we were upgraded to a corner room. The room was really large, with nice, clean wood floors. This was a... More
