MLB Spring Training. 7 games in 7 days. We selected Mesa Regal after a recommendation after reading the TripAdvisor reviews. Don't know what a previous reviewer meant by "seedy" - it's anything but. Very cute, well maintained, very friendly residents, most of them snowbirds, many from Canada. It was better than expected. We will be back next spring!

Mesa Regal is an old RV park, needs updating, and feels "seedy." The park has over 2,000+ sites (park homes and trailer sites), and the facilities are insufficient for the amount of people. We had brought our fifth wheel to Mesa Regal for three years. We had a nice spot with a grapefruit tree and wonderful neighbors. in 2009, they added a charge for garbage pickup, and a sewer charge, plus a rent increase making the total well over $600/month. Seems a bit seedy. Not as crowded as in previous years.

We saw the sign and drove in January 9/08 hoping there would be space for a month. There was and we had a reasonably spacious site with a grapefruit tree in the front - and they were in season. This resort is in an excellent location, clean, and has lots of amenities. We will definitely be back in 2009.
