Arrived early and the staff was very accommodating in getting me into my room. The resort isnt ritzy but clean and very comfortable. We stayed in 500 rooms witch were right by the pool. Close walk to parking and the resterant, pro shop, bar and golfing. I would definatly stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for their... More

The room reeked of mold and/or mildew, the phone was broken, some bulbs didn't work, one night table was broken with staples sticking out all over, some of the few channels on the TV were unwatchable and there was either lawn mowing and/or leaf blowing outside my room very early in the morning. Couldn't wait to leave.

Really wish I would have read the reviews on Trip Advisor! We came in for a weekend golf getaway and ended up at the AZGR. Love AZ and Mesa was very nice. Hated our stay at this hotel. Not a resort based on customer service and treatment. Some of the employees were ok but the Desk Supervisor was not accomidating... More

I'm happy to see you responding to everyones complaints by outlineing any possible crumb of positive feedback you get then pushing off the complaints with excuses and empty promise's. What about all the customers who allready got screwed with all the crumby service. This is not a resort. It makes sense that your bank owned due to banktrupcy. I would... More

Came for a weekend getaway with my wife. I should have listened to the majority of the reviews. Reserved a Casita suite in wary April..with a king bed. Check in and I'm placed in a Casita with double beds. Asked to be moved and the front desk said there are no garauntees and that's all they had. I reserved a... More

Dear Odoverley1 - very sorry for the room reservation misunderstanding at checkin - believe your reservation was for a Casita Suite with a request for a King - at the time of your early checkin all we had were double rooms available but good to see that we had you moved to the king bedded room that you had requested... I lived in Mesa, and I have been going to this resort for over 25 years. Our company housed us in our transfers. (Boeing) My sister and I now live in different states and stay at the AGR or Country Inn and Suites every few months to visit our dad. I am not happy with this hotel. I purchased room through Hotwire based on the star rating. The star rating for this hotel is over rated. The buildings are dilapidated and run down. This hotel is more of a motor inn with each room's door access directly from the outside. This poses a security issue. The floor was lumpy and... More

I stayed here with my husband and son for a hockey tournament. We decided not to stay where the rest of the team was, as we wanted more of a 'resort feel' to our trip. With the nice looking website and mostly positive reviews, I had high hopes...this place was kind of a disappointment. Overall, I'm on the border of voting this place 1 star. Upon first sight of this place I felt a little let down, the signage is so old and tacky looking, so I was worried about what the rest of the... More
