This was a wonderful pousada! The rooms were very cosy. Very good service. Excellent cuisine. We could watch the chef preparing the meals. We could sit in the lovely garden under fruit trees (and order coffee from the chef), or in the evening in the lounge beside the open fire. Beside WLAN the pousada provided an extra computer for guests. We... More

My wife and I stayed three nights at the Rincon del Fuego in Tilcara in late March. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the town center in this small town in northern Argentina. The town itself is at 7500 feet in elevation in the Andes mountains. The hotel has nice rooms with insuite baths; there is... More

We were lucky to get the last available room in this small hotel on a very busy weekend. The room was dark, but it was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and pillows. The best thing about our stay was the chef, Tomas, and the manager, Natasha. The dinners here were so fresh and tasty, that we didn't want to... More

Great friendly staff, lovely cozy atmosphere, had dinner by the fire, amazing, really amazing, dinner! The couple that cooks under your eyes could open a restaurant in Milan or Paris and be very successfull. Everything is prepared with care and genuine food. I was just delighted to spend time there. The room was beautiful, with stone walls, a stove, clean,... More

Super cute country hotel. Friendly, welcoming and helpful service. Very polite staff. Beautiful facilities, nice comfy rooms... There is really not a single dull note about this hotel. Visited off season so practically had the run of the place to ourselves. Enjoying late lunch on the sunny gorgeous little garden after a very long walk to Garganta del Diablo (a... More

We stayed two nights at the Rinco de Fuego in Tilcara during a longer trip in Argentina. This is by far the most special experience we have had during our days in Argentina. Rincon de Fuego is a beautiful and charming place with a cozy living room area, nice backyard and delightful, clean big rooms. The staff (Martin and Luciana)... More

Staff were very friendly. Hotel was peaceful. Breakfast was my favourite in 3 weeks as we got eggs made to order on top of the usual order. Bed big and comfy. Everything clean. 5 minute walk from main square. We'd driven a long way, it was cold when we arrived and I was in a bit if a grumpy mood... More

My family and I just absolutely loved this adorable hotel. The food [we ate lama meat, delicious!], the staff, the rooms, the cozy lobby, everything was great. The whole hotel spoke about the area through its decoration. At night, dogs from the neighborhood barked, but that was just part of the experience. My daughter forgot her beloved stuffed animal there,... More

Rincon de Fuego is a nice Inn that has used the old building and incorporated modern facilities into it including free internet in the lobby area. Particularly nice because of the stone and adobe structure the room remained cool despite the soaring temperatures. It's up a slight hill from the Plaza. We had a large room with a king sized... We stayed only 5 days in the argentinean northwest and visited Jujuy City, Tilcara, Humahuaca, Salinas Grandes, Purmamarca and Iruya. We stayed all our journey at "Rincón de Fuego" in Tilcara and came and went from that to the locations mentioned before -they are all day-trips from Tilcara-. Not only we loved Tilcara but also Rincón de Fuego. The hotel... More
