A short walk from the center of town and very convenient to the restaurants and nightlife in Balcarce. If your tours leave early and you let them know you can have an early breakfast. Very comfortable rooms although they were a bit dark.

The hotel is on a busy road but our room was quiet. The location was convenient, being a short walk to the main square and next door to reputedly the best restaurant in Salta! We stayed in the four-bed suite which comprised a large room with two beds, a small kitchen, a very small bathroom, and another 2-bed bedroom. The...

The Aldaba hotel was a great place for our stay in Salta. They are very close to the main spot for nightlife and some restaurants (Belcarre Street) and also the Train station where the Train to the Clouds arrives/departs from. This was very convenient for us because the train leaves so early in the morning!
The staff are incredibly incredibly...

Lovely rooms, excellent service and attention, wonderful rest! This place was recommended to us by our first choice lodging & we were very, very happy with "second choice"! The location couldn't be beat, a few blocks from excellent restaurants, Penas and conveniences. The staff was helpful with orientation, local tips, and arranging a road trip through rain forest and into...

I can only recommend this place very warmly!!!
The rooms are very comfortable and clean with a big bed! There have been many caring touches as water on a especially hot day, a glass of wine as pre-dinner aperitif and dulce di leche cookies as night goodie! Breakfast is delicious as well!
But what really makes this place wonderful to...

Aldaba has a pretty nice website which says "Hoteles Boutique, hoteles con tradicion y estilo". For me this set the expectations high but i was very underwhelmed by the hotel and thought that our room felt more like a cross between a motel and a hospital than a boutique hotel. That said, the location is good and the staff was...

We occupied the top floor two bedroom suite for three nights and this was one of the best experiences of our fifteen night stay in Argentina. The accomodation was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Despite being close to the clubs and bars in Balcarce, this was a very quiet location. A good continental breakfast with first class coffee...

We stayed here a total of 4 nights during our time in the NW. While the location and the staff were great and the rooms quiet, the rooms could use a facelift. A fresh coat of paint, a bit of color to liven up the room and cleaning or reupholstering the chairs (which looked dirty) would go a long way...

Fantastic boutique hotel in Salta, about a 7 min walk from the main square. Lovely rooms, attentive and caring staff and fantastic value. The staff went out of their way to setup an early breakfast for us when we had day tours starting early in the morning. Free wifi in all rooms.
Highly recommended!

The Aldaba is a small older hotel close to Balcarce street, which has lots of bars and restaurants. Our room was huge and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. But the best part of our stay was the people who run the hotel - they were absolutely delightful! Very, very helpful They went out of their way to make us...
