This is a good hostel within walking distance to the main street at an excellent price for the town. Breakfast is somewhat costly and kitchen could use more equipment but have stayed 3 times and is my preference for El Calafate.

Stayed for 2 days, rooms nice with comfortable beds and seperate shower and toilet. The staff are really helpfull and they exchange money which is handy. Only 5 mins from the main street the only bad point was the breakfast its just awfull don't bother its bad so bad.

Stayed three nights at this hostel. Workers at front desk were very helpful with everything. Rooms are nice in that each one (four people) has its own bathroom. If you want a hostel that lets people into your dorm room at 2 in the night, choose this one. If you are looking for a more respectful place, look elsewhere. Definitely a good place to stay in El Calafate. There isn't much to do in El Calafate but for a two nights, this place is perfect. Well-situated, a 5 minutes walk from the center. The staff is nice and helpfull and the rooms are spacious with bathroom.

The rooms are nice here (we stayed in a private double) - which are closer to hotel standard than hostel. Spotlessly clean and decent location. However, the staff were professional, but don't expect a friendly, bubbly welcome. Also, we stayed in room 84 which was like a furnace as it is the first room on the 'under floor heating' loop....
