Rooms are a bit basic, but the Hainen is everything we needed at this time. A 10 minute walk to town, so we were not troubled with the noise of the festival which was going on during our stay. Staff very helpful. Ask for a coffee and it appears with croissants and there is no charge. Breakfast also basic. More

Very good staff and great for a night or two in el calafate. Rooms are clean, breakfast included is nothing special but gets some food in you before heading out for the day. Location is an easy walk down the hill to town. More

the room is very small, the bed is old, noisy and about to break, the shower is old and you can hardely get in and they charge you as a 4 star hotel. the place is 15 minutes walk from the center. no reason to stay there. More

Loved my time at Hosteria Hainen. Lovely staff and Juan (owner) was very helpful. Loved the cabin type set up - very authentic! Nice hotel in a good location, just a 5 minute walk into town. Breakfast was nice, pastries, toast, cereal etc. Comfortable bed in good sized rooms. Well heated. Computer for use in lobby, very convenient. Altogether a very pleasant stay! More

Very good time here, clean and well located. You initially think when you've been dropped off that you're on the outskirts of town but actually it's only a 5 minute walk to the main street and several hotels are in the vicinity...there's also several excellent restaurants nearby.
