My wife and I were recommended this place by my sister who had stayed the year before. It was superb, the people, the food, the hospitality, the value, the location. Can't wait to go back again with our kids.

We stayed here for 3 nights 2 by ourselves & loved it. Abel our host provided great food & company. Fantasic snorkling right off the beach - very shallow so recommended at higher tides without flippers! Titi (wife of the village chief) invited us in as one of the family & the visit to the local meeting house to witness...

We stayed at Tailuas for 3 days, we were the only guests and were looked after by a nice young man called Able. The fale was primo, it was on the grass yet a metre from the sand. The matress's were new and thicker than any others we stayed at. Tailuas is a small group and plain to look at...

Right on the beach!.
A great spot to base yourself if fales are your thing.
We really didn't want to leave here.
At 60 tala per person per night including breakfast and dinner we thought it was excellent value.
The Fales have a mattress on the floor.
Bed linen and mosquito nets are also included.

There is not a lot to do but there is snorkeling and swimming in the beautiful waters only metres away from your accommodation which were clean and adequate, there is also walking...

We had a fantastic stay, with a VERY comfortable bed, clean toilets (showers a little light, but serves it purpose) and amazing food!!! The grass that is under the Fales is great as it gets rid of...

There’s not enough words to describe how beautiful the beach and village are and I have no idea where to start in describing the generosity of the family who run Tailua’s. It was my first experience...

This is a wonderfully relaxing place to stay. I have stayed at 5 other places on the main island including Lolamanu and wanted somewhere to stay just to get away from it all and unwind.
This place was recommended by the pizza place we stopped at just down the road.
What makes it so lovely is the owners make you...

We spent five nights at Tailua in June with a 10 month old and a 2 year old and recommend it. Originally planned to stay 3 nights and extended our stay it was so wonderful and relaxing. The six fales are all absolute beach front, well spaced, and surrounded by grass. Good size, in good condition, with electric lights and...
