Property is very attractive, clean and well managed. Rates are reasonable. The setting is forest-like and very relaxing. Many interesting side-trips into the surrounding Tonto National Forest are right at-hand and an extra day for exploring is advised.

We had a family emergency in the Payson area and it required a overnight stay. i wasn't quite sure what I would find at the last minute. I've stayed in Payson quite a few times and I'm not sure how I never noticed this place before. This place is my go-to place now. Comfortable, quiet, serene. I love the little patios in the back.

While the Majestic Mountain Inn is not necessarily majestic itself, it offers pleasant rooms and a nice, quiet location. I liked the layout of the inn and it's proximity to a decent steakhouse. This is the perfect getaway Inn. Especially in the winter as their upgraded rooms have spas and fireplaces. I would suggest to always pay the extra for the upgraded room ~ it is well worth the extra money.
