Great value for price paid, nicely appointed rooms, comfortable bed with nice pillows and linens, and the front desk clerk at check in was helpful. I would stay here again.
My husband and I have stayed here several times previously and enjoyed it. However, on my last visit in April, the AC in the room was not working when I checked in. I let the front desk know right away and maintenance checked it out. However, when we got back from dinner at 9 pm, it was still about 85...

This was an outstanding hotel. We spent five days at this location and found everything to be first class. Check in and check out was simple. The rooms were a good size - we had a king. Shower, bathroom, fridge...everything was in good condition. The pool area was EXCELLENT. Cleaned every morning and towels poolside. The bird cage was a...

This is my second time I've booked at this hotel. Service is good. Seems the hotel staff loves to just sit and help customers behind the counter, rather than stand.
Rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. Extra thick beds with lots of pillows, a blanket and comforter. Water pressure is great and the internet connection (which is free) is...

we booked this hotel purely for the price around $50.00. The area is a little rough, noticed by the 24 hour surveillance cameras, the gate they tell you to keep locked and even the computer room you had to get a key for. Even so the pool was really pretty, they had beautiful birds in the cage and even fountains.....

We originally booked for a week. My first impression was "meh" because the rooms are a little dated, but it was clean enough and the price was right. The pillows are absolutely terrible little boulders that are impossible to make comfy. Once you get past the minor stuff, we discovered that we really loved this place for its retro vibe...

Rooms are standard and clean. Overall the property is old and the location is in an older part of town. Once inside the property, the courtyard is very beautiful with a nice warm pool, soothing fountain, bird avairy, pretty flowers, swing and life sized chess set. It's close to oldtown Scottsdale, just a few minutes North down Scottsdale Road. No...

This hotel is located well, near Scottsdale Fashion Square and airport. No breakfast or coffee available- breakfast is available for purchase in the restaurant. Disappointed in no available coffee in lobby as is provided by most Best Western hotel, would have been nice for trip to the airport. No transport provided. Best thing about this hotel was the pool area,...

Just visited Papago for annual Spring Training trip. At first glance the hotel is dumpy but fortunately the friendly staff and centralized location make up for that. Also it is reasonably priced considering it's proximity to Old Scottsdale.
Bad:
Loud pedestrian traffic in hallway woke us up early, breakfast only served until 10am, check-in staff had zero personality, other staff...

Stayed for one night in early May. Was very comfortable, clean, and included complimentary wi-fi. Definitely felt like an older hotel but well maintained, possibly remodeled/overhauled rooms as the inside seemed newer than the outside. The beds were comfortable with a comfortable chair and ottoman to lounge in. If you're staying for longer and have more baggage, space is possibly...
