This was an interesting experience. On the one hand, a highly professional staff. On the other hand, our room was over the garage entrance to the staff service area with no views, and the room needed an update from 1980s fusty. Not what I expected at the high rates that were charged. And our contact with the manager yielded no... More

Perfect location for exploring Sedona. Had trouble with heating unit in room and we were taken care of immediately. Time share folks very pushy, but we are comfortable saying "no". Room was quiet and comfortable. Just made reservations for two more weeks next year! Can't wait to get back to Sedona.

Everything is as advertised. Just kind of expensive. Very relaxing accommodations and excellent service.

Stayed for a 2 night break in May from the 100+ heat further south in Scottsdale and would highly recommend L'auberge. Lots of little individual touches set it apart from the major chains, like the free shuttle up the hill to downtown Sedona, morning coffee & scones, duck feeding, riverside restaurant and no tipping policy. The rooms are nice, if... More

We were seated at a table next to Oak Creek, where a crane stood on a rock and waited for a fish, and ducks floated by, and the creek lulled us into a dream state while the setting sunlight flickered through the trees. The food was very good, and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was exceptionally articulate, funny, and... More

Serene, Quiet (and please keep it that way), understated and beautiful. We can't wait to go back! Not a hotel for children, but for those who want the whole Sedona experience.

Nice, but a but overrated for the price. Don't eat here, way over priced. Get your own boxed lunch and eat at the chairs/tables down by the creek. Keep your feet up off the dirt or you may get a few ants crawling up your legs. the lodge has nice rooms but no view. Seems to be hotel traffic at... More

We spent a long weekend here relaxing before a business conference in Phoenix. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were pampered. But unlike many stuffier luxury hotels, this is like being in the guest house of your (very wealthy) best friends. We stayed in a view cottage halfway up the cliffs, overlooking the rest of the resort.... More

Just got back from L'Auberge; it is tired and worn and needs to be redone. When you drive in, they have these fake cottages built perpendicular from the hill - beyond horrid looking. The whole place now looks artificial quaint. The inside is worn - to check in you sit at a worn desk with chipped wood and the staff... More

I stayed there for 5 nights, at the main lodge, and paid a fortune for a motel type room (360$ per night), with no breakfast or anything else!!! The grounds of the hotel are nice, but the rooms at main lodge have the feel and decore of a Holliday Inn, with a much smaller and extremly uncomfortable bathroom. Overall service... More
