LaQuinta in Village of Oak Creek provided my sister, cousin and I with nicely decorated rooms, clean, comfortable. Had stayed there in 2011 and thought the Inn was fresher and updated. The big plus for us was that it is located within a short walking distance of trails. One can walk whatever distance suits physical stamina.

This hotel is not in Sedona. it is a few miles south. There is a good Thai restaurant close by. We were in a pet friendly room. The room was a bit tired but the main complaint was how much we could hear through the paper thin walls. Perhaps the poor rooms are reserved for people with pets !
