Great Resort, staff was exceptional. The sights were amazing. The food in this town was great, we never ate at the same restaurant. Hade a wide variety of options of foods. Mexican, Italian, and local . We tried to support the local restaurant and not the chains. It was a really relaxing vacation. The scenery was amazing, would like to retire out there.

We spent 5 QUIETdays at the hotel and had a great time. I found the the Concierge Jen and Betsy to be extremely helpful. We paid the extra $20 for the rock view and had a fabulous time. We only had one night booked but arrived early to enjoy the area and the room. We had a corner fireplace and a cozy bed, in the cool evening it was fun to light it and enjoy the Sedona breeze and warm fire. The Front Desk staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. The "supervisor" not only smirked at me but she also was talking about about me with other staff while I walked away. For $245/night I was given the worst room in the hotel and told "we're sorry we have a lot of weddings this weekend". I originally was booked in for two nights but I liked it here so much that I stayed a third night. My room was of average size, with a large bathroom. We were on the third floor. The balcony was wonderful and had a table and chairs. I spent a good amount of time sitting out here gazing at the magnificent red rock view. Our family stayed at this resort for 2 nights in early July 2011. We found most of the staff to be extremely friendly. My kids (9 and 11) loved the pool area. We dined for dinner 1 evening and breakfast 2 days. The wait staff and food was excellent. The concierge was extremely helpful with a jeep tour of the red rocks. Negatives...opinion only - hallways and room in general seemed dark...also the pool bar... More

While the Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa is in a lovely location, the overall atmosphere of this "resort" screams "aaaauuggh!!!" Imagine allowing a fraternity to take over a country club.
