We had originally booked one night but started our vacation early and they were able to get us in. We had a king size bed and a very large and comfy room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and helped us with every little thing we needed - from food recommendations to filling our ice chest. The town is... More

Thank you Jennifer for the nice compliments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and that we were able to get you in a day early. Our apologies again for the jacuzzi being down. We are still working on getting the right part up here for it so we can get it heating again. Hopefully, it will be up and... More

Clean but old (60-70's), parking at your door; cottage-style. Two 'reachable' plug-ins in whole room, and the grounded one was at the bathroom sink. Things we take for granted in today's world -- like grounded outlets, coffee pot, shampoo, & hairdryer -- weren't there so I took turns charging our cell phones and using the computer after unplugging a lamp.... We were disappointed with this property, having read that it was the best bet for the area. We should have looked elsewhere. Springerville and Eagar are at the top end of the Coronado Trail and are good places to stop. Reed's Lodge, while quiet, was badly in need of a good cleaning, and/or renovation. We found the beds too hard... More

We appreciate your staying with us and regret that you did not rest well. We sincerely want all our guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay.Different guests do have different preferences when it comes to mattress choice. Had we known that the Serta Back Supporter mattresses felt too firm for you, we would have offered to upgrade you to... More

I almost stopped at one of the chain hotels when a call to Reed's gave me an immediate sense this was a more interesting place. The woody lodge in the middle of town felt like home - the owners were a pleasure to talk with and had a deep understanding of the town's history, as well as offered good advice... More

Having stayed at a Best Western the previous night we found similar facilities, a charming reception, and a sense of style at a far lower price. Friendly restaurant across the road. I am glad we found this motel.

We spent a night at Reed's Lodge and found the room to be spacious, comfortable and clean. The morning sun throught the bathroom window was very bright, but easily handled by closing the bathroom door. There was snow and ice on the ground throughout town, but warm and cozy in our room. We really enjoyed the lobby fireplace and visiting... More

The lodge is old but that just adds to comfortable feel. Reeds is like your favorite old pair of jeans. Not fancy but just feels right. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly. We have been staying there once or twice a year for 15 years. We really enjoy it.

Overall I enjoyed my stay. It was a place where I could relax after some very trying meetings. I will definately stay here again the next time I am in Springerville.

We arrived at Reed's Lodge about 8 p.m. We had planned to drive further, but were tired and decided to stop for the night. My husband and I have my 85 year old mother with us on vacation and she is usually ready to retire by 9 or 10 p.m.. We did not have a reservation but they still had... More

My room was old, but clean and charming and the bathroom was recently remodeled. Reed's is a wonderful, cozy, friendly, quiet local-flavor motel. Even the lobby was relaxing, with a fireplace usually going. One day there was no fire, so I built one then fell asleep on a sofa in front of the fire. This is for down-to-earth people. If... More
