As a professional photographer from New Jersey, I traveled 17 hours before checking in at Springerville's Rode Inn. Two clients and a colleague were with me and we all had the same reaction. What a great surprise it was to find such a clean, comfortable, warm, safe place in what seems like the middle of nowhere. The people working there... More

My husband , son, and I unfortunately found this place because the Best Western was full. We paid $89 and here is what we found in the room: -FECES AND TOILET PAPER IN TOILET! -Cleaning rag or dirty washcloth on floor by bed -Sunflower seeds on floor -A used bar of soap left in the bathroom -Wrappers/garbage in bathroom -... My wife and I stayed there on a motorcycle trip of the White Mountains of Eastern Arizona in early November, 2009. We felt the room was a bit high priced so they gave us a better rate. The room was spacious, clean and we had no problems whatever. The breakfast was really good. Not your usual cheapo "Continental Breakfast" but... More

I traveled with a smoker, so unfortunately we had to get a smoking room. Well, what's worse than a smoking room? A smoking room that has a hardcore 'air freshener' mounted near the ceiling that squirts out a noxious scent which permeates every inch of the room. The head board (unfortunately made of foam), the pillows, everything smelled like this... More

We've stayed here twice in the last year, and both times we were very happy with the hotel. The desk clerks are friendly. The rooms are not a Ritz Carlton but everything was in good working order and comfortable. The rooms have a small refrig. I really enjoyed the breakfast, which included waffles, yogurt, breads, fruit, etc. We will stay... More

As a motorcycle group which has planned several overnight meetings in Springerville in recent years, we watched the Rode Inn go downhill by 2008. Last June one couple received a room with no toilet. Another party received a room that was already occupied. I rgot a room with a loose shower tub. Peeling paint and town carpeting are other distractions.... More

Driving through AZ, we were tired and had to stop for the night. The Rode Inn was the most welcoming looking place on Main Street. We were not disappointed. Staff was helpful, rates were good, breakfast was more than ample. When we discovered that we'd left a favorite sweatshirt behind, we called the following week and they offered to package... More

Didn't know what to expect when we booked this hotel but we were pleasantly surprised. Service was outstanding and above and beyond. The front desk clerk sewed my friends torn rain gear for him at no charge. Very nice breakfast. Clean and appropriately apportioned rooms. What book again without hesitation.
