Expected certain standard based on description in web and being a premier class of teh BW brand. Got to hotel and they gave us a room which looked like in the old section of the hotel. The coffee maker did not work , there was no creamers in the basket and 2 sugar packets. Called housekeeping and they said they... More

I think that all hotels on the Grand Canyon are poor value for money due to the number of tourists and Best Western Grand Canyon is no exception to it. I think that during my road trip between Nevada, Utah and Arizona it was the poorest value hotel I had. Room very average, a bit dark, cleanliness average, bathroom small,... More

The rooms are ridiculously huge in a good way! Beds are super comfy. I slept soundly and i mean soundly. Bathroom was amazingly spacious. And I'm big on the quality of hotel-supplied bath products since this helps limit my what I need to pack. These guys use Green Spa...great stuff! Very high quality. In-house restaurant was delish! Good wine options... More

Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The place was much larger that we expected - it is like a corporate conference center transplanted to the middle of nowhere. Well, middle of nowhere except for the fact it's about 3 miles from Grand Canyon National Park. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. An unexpected bonus was an oversize tub... More

Even though the hotel is in a great location, the overall condition of the facility is poor. My room has hug black spots in the carpet, the air condition did not work, the towel rack kept falling off the wall even though we request they repair it, and finally the maid forgot to place coffee cups in our room and... Although this hotel is in a great location just a few minutes from the entrance to the Grand Canyon National Park entrance, it misses the mark in so many areas. The front desk staff was totally inept and everyone you spoke to gave you a different answer. I called from right out front and was quoted a price, when I... More

We were there for 2 nights, midweek, in May. Check-in was a breeze, the property was well maintained and spacious. Staff was all helpful and courteous. Room was about $180 a night but it IS next to one fo the seven wonders, after all! Clean, everything including alarm, mini fridge, iron and hairdrier worked well. Breakfast buffett was amoung the... Good experience very close to the Entrance and the helicopter flights. Food ok and better than expected. Full compliments for having fresh fruit for breakfast. Room very good but around the bed base was dusty. Very comfortable. No lifts to second floor accommodation.

Spent several nights at the Grand Canyon Squire and was impressed with the location, the staff and the amenities. Great base for exploring the Grand Canyon. Room was large and comfortable although I only used it to sleep. The complimentary breakfast is superb - fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, bagels, muffins, etc. The restaurants are excellent and offer box lunches for... More

This hotel is in a good location outside of the national park, if you have not been able to stay inside the park. The town of Tusayan has a number of shops, restaurants and other hotels, and is just a 10 min drive to the canyon itself. My overall opinion of the hotel is that it is overpriced. Our room... More
