We recently stayed at the hotel for a business retreat and extended our stay to enjoy some R & R. It is located just a couple blocks from the main street with a lot of cute shops and restaurants. We took the train to the Canyon and the depot is located across the street. The hotel is definitely the best...

Qw stayed at the hotel and also rode the train to the Canyon. Great experience and good food. Spenser's lounge is quaint and the local beers are great.
We stayed 2 nights at the GCRH as part of a package to take the train to the canyon. It is conveniently located across from the train depot. From the outside it doesn't look like anything special, but inside is Grand. We upgraded to the deluxe room. We had plenty of room, the beds & pillows were very comfortable. The...

We booked our reservations over the phone for one night in the “Rail Baron Suite” at the hotel and round trip tickets in a Luxury Parlor Car on the railway to the Grand Canyon the next day. We were celebrating and wanted to go “first class” – we weren’t disappointed.
After a rather long day on the road, we checked...

Booked this as part of a package to visit the Grand Canyon using the railway. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Only criticism is the outlook on to another row of rooms. Staff were helpful. Able to leave car and extra suitcases overnight whilst we stayed in the Grand Canyon. Overall package - overnight at Railway Hotel, return train journey,...

We thought the train ride would be a great experience for the kids - and this hotel seemed the place to start. They really take advantage of their advantage by offering absolutely nothing special at the hotel. The building is about as bland as bland can be. Really makes an awful first impression. Unfortunately we showed up at the same...

If you are going to take the Grand Canyon Railway to the Grand Canyon, stay at this hotel. It is overpriced, but that is outweighed by the convenience. The front desk folks are lovely and the rooms are clean. We had a nice quiet room (a deluxe) and slept really well. There are plenty of towels in the bathrooms and...

Lovely hotel with very large clean and well furnished rooms. We did however find it difficult to navigate the many twist and turns to find our room. Breakfast was great with a good selection of fruits, yoghurt and an omelette station for eggs "any way you want them" I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Did the package, train and hotel. Hotel very nice. Train trip OK, bit boring. 2 hours of not much to see, though they did stage a hold up which was good for the kids.
