There doesn't seem to be too many options in Winslow. This place works fine. It is older, but the rooms are clean. It appears to have been recently updated with plumbing, carpet and paint. Not sure about all of the rooms. Probably should ask when making the reservation or checking in. The staff was friendly.

The econo lodge is located next to I-40, so is convenient. But I was first struck by how old and shabby the exterior is...what a difference an exterior make over would do. The airport FBO referred us to the Econolodge because they were the only motel in town to provide van service to the airport. We found the staff to be very helpful and willing to please. The motel location is right off of the interstate but didn't seem noisy. The room was non-smoking but there were cigarette burns on the bathroom floor and the side of the tub.
