Showed up at 13.15 (1.15pm) to be received with a "people come here to eat a meal. The restaurant is closed". In France? When lunch drags on to 14.30? Not even polite enough to say that the restaurant was full.

It is in a beautiful quiet rural area with a view away over to Mont Blanc. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable, and the staff very pleasant. The food was excellent. There was a good outside pool, and lots of outside seating.
It was so much nicer and cheaper than a hotel near Geneva airport on the other side...
