we were a little disappointed in this hotel as it was so big, rather overdone in its furnishings. It has very grand ornaments and fixtures such as chandeliers etc in the large foyer but the room was very average. We did not like the breakfast as the milk was warm and the bread not fresh although there was plenty of food... More

The Hotel Famissi is the hotel that once was...probably built in the sixties or seventies, it's obvious that the place at one time was quite nice. The reception floor is overdecorated in a sort of mid-East casino style, but it's clean and well kept. The sitting areas are a riot of plush fabrics, exotic chandeliers, throw pillows with crystal beading,... More

Stayed at the Famissi a couple weeks ago and was very happy with the accommodations. The check-in/out was very efficient and the staff was very helpful and professional. Location: Very centrally located, can walk to restaurants and shops. Rooms have balconies with view of main street (which is quiet at night) or the hills/monastaries. Meteora is just minutes away. Located on main street at the entrance to Kalampáka. Clean and comfortable room: wooden furniture, large comfortable beds and a balcony with view to Meteora hills. The staff was very helpful, helped us a very informative, with taxi and bus tickets. We were very pleased. More

We stayed here as part of the Cosmos Greek Odyssey tour. The room had a magnificent view of the monasteries (if you face the back). My friend's room faced the front and they had a street view. We went off season so it wasn't too loud but I could imagine if it's crowded there, it would get noisy. Lots of... More

The hotel is very good. The room beautifully furnished (though there wasn't a fridge), clean, quiet but not very spacious. Our balcony had a beautiful view to Meteora. Breakfast ok, but there were only 2 types of cereal (white and chocolate, most hotels have muesli), there wasn't black bread (only white) and also there wasn't any fruit. We also had... More

My friend and I stayed at this hotel one night last summer. It was pretty decent. The room was quite clean and cute and we had a balcony with a table and chairs where we could sit outside, sip wine and enjoy the view. The view was spectacular, we could see the rocks and some monestaries right from our room.... More
