We booked this property 9 months in advance specifically because of their outdoor hot tub. We checked-in with the not particularly friendly owner. The appartment was clean & with all you need to cook if you want to. 2 Icelandic channels only on the TV. Then we jumped in the hot tub outside but could not turn on the bubbles.... More

Dear guest. We are very sorry to hear you are not satisfaction with the stay in the Guesthouse. There must have been some misunderstanding about the hot tub, because we truly have a hot tub, and steam bath, but we don´t have bubbles in the hot tub... As you can see on other review´s our guest are pleased with the... More

Stayed here with a small group and was very impressed. Comfortable rooms, even though I stayed in the shared bathroom part of the facility. I did check out their apartments as well. They would be great for a family. Folders in every room provide ideas for day tours from the guesthouse. Yes it is centrally located and would be a... More

The guesthouse offers breakfast at a fee, and without kitchen facilities, this serves to be quite an inconvenience to us as we had bought breakfast to cater in. Note to travelers: If you're traveling with a group, It is definitely worth it to pay a little more for the apartment which has a kitchen and a hot tub for you... More

We were in a group of 10 so had dinner included which was delicious. Our apartment was cosy and next to the hot tub and steam room which was a lovely addition. Something special about being in a hot tub in the snow - hot water courtesy of the geo thermal system! Colbruin was very friendly and helpful. A super... More

Clean. Comfortable. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful owners. Nice to have a little apartment, instead of just a room. There's a binder in each room with information on area sites. There are multiple copies of each page, so you can take with you. A great location for doing the Golden Circle.

This is a great place to spend a night on your way east from Reykjavik heading east. My friend and I spent a night here before heading out toward Vik, after visiting Thingviller. The room was so clean and comfortable, and affordable too. There was tea available all the time, and the breakfast was pretty decent too-- it came free... More

We stayed here for 1 night during a roundtrip tour. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious apartment which is foreseen with a living room (including tv, many magazines & books), free wifi with a decent speed, kitchen and comfortable bedroom (with extra pillows). It's also very good isolated; a couple with a little baby was staying next to us... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. It is an excellent base for south west Iceland. The apartments are lovely - clean, spacious and the heating is easily regulated! The owner is very helpful and friendly, and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

We saw the good reviews on trip advisor, and they are so accurate. We had an apartment, though we did also have the breakfast on the first day, to save buying things. That was good. But the apartment just has all you need. A friendly welcome, everything clean and neat.

Our family stayed for two nights, and we really appreciated the clean, spacious holiday apartment. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but instead bought our own groceries, and made good use of the bakery down the street. The owner was very helpful with directions, etc., and my sons really enjoyed the hot tub and sauna.
