Nice,clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff in a beautiful community. Really felt at home here and would highly recommend this hostel (also called bed and breakfast) as a reasonably priced place to stay just 40 minutes outside of Reykjavik. Community pool very close by and nice restaurants/cafe as well.

We booked a room long in advance in the Selfoss hostel. We were overcharged and didn't get the room we booked (with a basin). The lady at reception was very rude.
