A little disconcerting to be asked on check in for desired time for breakfast and to wait 10 minutes for someone to appear. Probably a one off given reviews. Clean. Hearty breakfast. Lacks warmth.

Very clean and excellent host... Pat gave us good info and excellent service. Hearty breakfast, clean rooms, easy walk to Navan centre. Great place for Boyne Valley excursions.
My husband and I spent our 2nd night in Ireland at Athlumney Manor. We arrived late, but host Pat was there to graciously give us the tour and make us feel at home. The accomodations were impeccably clean and breakfast was good. The next morning, Pat gave us directions to the house of the Athlumney Castle caretaker who gave us...

I stayed in this B&B recently. I normally stay in hotels but decided this time to choose a bed and breakfast and I was very happy with my choice. Got a fantastic welcome, they were really helpful when I asked about food (recommend the Italian down the road) . Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable.

I have just returned from a couple of nights at Athlumney Manor B and B, and have nothing but praise for the warm atmosphere and top quality service. You feel as though you are a treasured guest in a family home rather than a client at a hotel.
The rooms are scrupulously clean and, if a little on the small...

A well run B&B. The room, the building and gardens are all nicely maintained. Pauline, the host, was always cheerful and helpful I enjoyed the traditional Irish breakfast, and other selections were available. A 15 minute walk into the centre of town would give you a decent selection of restaurants for supper.
From the moment we arrived, Pat, our host, was extremely friendly. He gave us all the details on where to eat and how to get to the sights we wanted to see. Room and breakfast was all we could have expected. Pat made our stay absolutely wonderful. We stayed at several other places around Ireland during our vacation, but none...

After leaving Glendalough, we drove up to Navan and came up to a grand manor called Athlumney Manor... During our holiday, we had a terrible experience with one of our b & bs, so we had reservations until we saw the manor.. And once we met Ms. Pauline, we knew this would be a special last stop on our travels.....

This was one of the most friendly, accommodating B&B we have stayed in during our 2 weeks in Ireland. Facilities and food were excellent and our Host Pat, was awesome, helpful and a great conversationalist. Learnt about the area and sights to see. Never a dull moment.
Absolutely Awesome! Friendly and informative host (Pat). Beautiful room and gardens, quiet location, only 1 min drive to town centre (if that). Pat went out of his way to indicate local attractions, pubs, meals, local music, and noted on map. Would highly recommend and visit again without hesitation. Michael and Nicola - Tasmania, Australia
