Good - The restaurant is good value with great food. We stayed in a double room. The first person we met was very helpful and friendly. She put a portable heater in the really cold room. Bad - There was mould on the ceilings. Bedding looked slept in and there was someone else's hair in the bed. The shower was... More

We stopped off here by chance on a Saturday evening as we travelling through Slane. This is a cosy, welcoming restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. The menu was excellent making choices difficult, the way it should be. It didn't disappoint. There was a €15 offer for starter and main course. Each dish we ordered was well presented, substantial and delicious.... More

We had a lovely meal on Tuesday evening. It was reasonably priced - 2 courses for 15 euro each, 3 courses for 18 euro. I was full after a starter of goats cheese tart with red onion jam, then chicken with a lemon sauce. Proscecco to drink. 80 euro for 3 people including a tip. The waiter was lovely too...

Great breakfast, very helpful staff, good location, nice bistro BUT wouldn't win "four in a bed"! The room we stayed in (#1) felt like staying in your student mates back room. The mattress was old, thin and squeaky. The bed lined, although smelled fresh, looked as if it was slept in. They were creased and worn. The room was dark... More

My brother had rented out the Mill House Boutique Hotel in Slane for the day and night of his wedding in July 2010. With only 13 bedrooms in the hotel, many of us were happy to find more affordable accommodation nearby .I paid I think about 30euros for a single room, as hubbie stayed home with the kids. For this... More

This is the most obvious stop in Slane as it is easy to spot on the main street and has a very friendly and good restaurant. The price was decent (40 GBP) and the food was great. The owners were very nice and accomodating. My only complaints were that the bed was horrible (thin, old, squeaky mattress) in room #3... More

I stayed here while attending a wedding in the locality. The room was clean and the people friendly. I would say that it gives value for money. If I was to pick a couple of points where I was under impressed, I would say I couldn't get the water in the shower to a decent temperature as the gauge was... More

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and loved it. The food is exceptional in the restaurant. It was the best meal we had in all our travels in Ireland. I'm a vegetarian and my husband is a carnivore and both of our meals were exceptional. The accommodations were clean and simple, no frills. The owners were very... More
