We stopped off here by chance on a Saturday evening as we travelling through Slane. This is a cosy, welcoming restaurant with friendly, helpful staff. We had a lovely meal on Tuesday evening. It was reasonably priced - 2 courses for 15 euro each, 3 courses for 18 euro. I was full after a starter of goats cheese tart with red onion jam, then chicken with a lemon sauce. Proscecco to drink. 80 euro for 3 people including a tip. The waiter was lovely too...

This is the most obvious stop in Slane as it is easy to spot on the main street and has a very friendly and good restaurant. The price was decent (40 GBP) and the food was great.
