The Room was very noisy and the outside pool was closed. No signs about it. The outside looks beautiful but the Environment not . It is mostly used by travellers who go out very early in the morning .

The Hotel Finca Eslava was out of the city center so it had plenty of parking which was a bonus. However we had to drive into town and find parking to see the churches and other sites. Overall it is a very nice hotel with a pool, spacious rooms and a great restaurant.

This hotel was one of life’s gems in traditional old Spanish style. Huge grounds with swimming pool. Very spacious and a delight to stay in. Excellent service. We opted for half board and had an amazing meal in a very spacious restaurant.Comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault it at all

Booked 2 rooms at the last minute and had a relaxing dinner and good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent and even has soy and oat milks as well as lactose free and whole milk. Great selection of fruit, cereals, breads, cold meats, cheese and eggs - scrambled or cooked to order. Overall a very pleasant experience and very good value.

We loved this hotel - it has bags of authentic Spanish character, from the beautiful cobbled internal courtyard to the simple tiled rooms. The restaurant is really excellent too: a cut above the rest of the restaurants in Antequera, with traditional, carefully prepared Andalusian dishes. We will definitely be back.

It wasn’t as expected, as showed on the website. The pool is a public pool shared with people that aren’t clients of the hotel and there is no spa so I don’t think they deserve to be called « hotel&spa ». The staff isn’t really pleasant but, well, we could handle that. But I am very disappointed about the pictures that let you expect something very different than it is, in my point of view it’s fake publicity

Despite having passed the hotel several times we had never stopped and this was a mistake. We came for dinner but the hotel was lovely - excellent bars, restaurant, grounds and common rooms and an amazing interior. We had drinks in the friendly bar and then went to the very larges restaurant. This is divided into several areas ( these is also a very large outdoor area) so social distancing wasn't a problem. It was busy saturday night with families, couples and very Spanish ( warm fiendly and relaxed) The menu is very local and traditional. So expect lots of meats ...we had the excellent Russian salad to start with and I also have the scrambled eggs with cod and mushrooms - divine. This was followed by lamb chops and pork loin with a blue cheese sauce..hmm it was very good and then a coffee. We had two starters two main courses coffee and four glasses of wine - all for 60 Euros - excellent value for money and service...go try and we will be back...

Our group of four friends arrived at the hotel at 12:40 PM and were told in no uncertain terms that check in was at 1 PM. Not a pleasant start. Once we got into our rooms, they were basic, clean and almost painfully lacking in any aesthetic decor. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was its indoor swimming pool. However it's a school type lap pool and there isn't even any seating in the area, so forget about lounging around the pool. The spa did offer inexpensive massages, but the masseuses were inexperienced and essentially did back rubs for an hour. Also the spa bathrooms and showers were moldy and unclean. One bright spot, Finca has a very good meat oriented restaurant. Also pretty seating areas on the lobby floor and nice shrubbery around the grounds.

Greeted by the charming Nani in reception & made to feel welcome. Room large & comfortable & bathroom immaculate. The Finca is a delightful old fashioned hotel with a courtyard, two floors, lovely lounge, restaurant & bar. The family also own the spa complex & as a client of the hotel you have free access & use of it.( swimming caps obligatory as in France). The Finca also caters for weddings. We had a light meal in the restaurant of a big salad & Black foot Serrano ham with a bottle of wine in the conservatory attached to the restaurant : price reasonable & food good. The breakfast arrangement is buffet style & simple /continental style but adequate (8€ as opposed to 16€ at the Parador.) All staff were helpful & polite: try even a basic hello/thank you in spanish to get results. Met the owner Don Antonio who works with his son on the premises at all hours: charming gentleman who helps to support financially all sorts of activities in the area. Hope to visit again. Taxis cheap to town as parking is horrendous!
