We are staying in the Pyr as I type this and all I can say is never again. The beds in the studio apartment are hard and lumpy and likely from when the hotel was built so many years ago. I should have looked into this place further but I took our travel agent's word that the place was habitable.... More

stayed here for 10 days in october, very clean, very nice staff, ideal place in centre of town. yes if you are alight sleeper you would here the people coming from the nite clubs at the corner and binmen,but besides that an enjoyable stay mattress was very hard but you cant suit everyone

Would stay here again as it we paid a good price. Close to beach,bars and shops. Wouldn't recommend for older people or light sleepers as there is a lot of traffic passing from early morning. We stayed on the 8th floor and could hear if from all the way up there. Nothing that ear plugs won't solve
