Well the digs were very fine too, but if you want the real reson to stay request 2 X poached eggs. Fresh, free range, enormous yolks and fabulous. Dorothy's confirms her eggs not sourced from family or friends but nearby farm as they are superior.

If you want to stay in a super B&B with the friendliest of welcomes, this is a place for you. Not only will you be close to Alnwick, but you will also be able to experience Alnmouth with its fantastic beach. A great place for walkers and golfers. Do not miss this gem.
We booked Bilton Barns on a whim for my husband's 30th birthday weekend - we saw it in a farm stay book and thought it looked nice. I cannot express strongly enough how glad I am we did!

Set in countryside a couple of miles outside Alnmouth, the area is lovely, with Alnwick, it's castle and gardens about 4 miles away. We were warmly greeted and given a pot of tea and delicious home-made cakes to welcome us. Our room was massive, with 3 windows looking across the field to the sea. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast...

Our first time visit to Bilton Barns and we can't recommend it highly enough. Thoroughly enjoyable. We were made to feel very welcome and the great breakfasts really kick-started the day! The location is ideal for touring the Northumberland coast, and 'getting away from it all'.
