My wife and I last went on a 'B&B' trip to Scotland in 1976. 4 nights at the Auld Alliance blotted out that (generally poor to bad) experience and replaced it with a special memory of quiet quality, an amazingly energetic and unendingly charming, helpful hostess (whose husband takes superb landscape photographs) and the stunning view across Gairloch from our...

This was the best B&B of our trip around the Highlands! Do not believe Visit Scotland's star review classification system. We stayed in a few «Four Star B&Bs» that should not have received more than 2 stars.

The brekkie was the best of our trip, truly full scottish and overlooking the loch.
Corinne was lovely the...

We stayed for 2 nights over Easter 2011 and were delighted to stay here especially as the sun shone all the time we were there. It has great views across the bay, and the house and hosts could not be better. We...

A brilliant B&B and a brilliant hostess. Bedroom was spotless and so was the en-suite. Everything you would want a B&B to be and more. Breakfast was utterly stupendous. Will return to the area and this B&B and would recommend to all who will listen!!!!
