This is the third time I have stayed at Airds Farm and the welcome, accommodation and quality of care is maintained. Nothing is too much trouble as Tricia Keith is hospitality personified, the rooms are comfortable, the views fantastic, the breakfasts scrumptious and having border collies to greet you is just the icing on the cake. If you are looking...

weekend away on route to ayrshire coast,a much needed break......bliss........nuff said :) home from home, friendly, hospitable, and most importantly peacefull.......highly highly recommended.!
I can't think of when I've had a more relaxing stay in a beautiful area. As noted by others, the property is perched on a hill with views of Loch Ken, herds of cattle and flocks of sheep. It's easy to find, with quick access to Castle Douglas, New Galloway and other nearby towns. Tricia was most friendly and welcoming,...

We have just returned from a week's holiday staying at Airdsmill which is the 4 bed luxury house adjacent to Airds Farm B&B and also owned by Alan and Tricia. We ranged in age from 12 to 85(!) and everyone enjoyed themselves. The house has a high degree of comfort and everything has been taken care of by the lovely,...

The three border collies on site are only some of the attractive features of this B and B situated on a working farm - fresh duck eggs are also a pleasant surprise. The situation is quiet - just outside Castle Douglas - the service friendly and welcoming, the rooms capacious and well-stocked and the food good.
Located a mile or so outside the village of Crossmichael and ten minutes from Castle Douglas, Airds Farm has wonderful views over the Loch Ken and to the hills beyond. A warm welcome and great accommodation awaits guests . Tricia is a fountain of knowledge on where to go and where to eat. Would strongly recommend Airds Farm.
Set above Loch Ken and the village of Crossmichael, Airds has wonderful views over the water and the hills beyond. A warm welcome comes from Tricia Keith with the offer of a pot of tea in the conservatory to take in the view. There are often roe deer on the specially seeded field below and red kites float past as...

We stayed one night in the self catering Airdside house but taking bed and breakfast in the main house. Airdside is good value, spacious and comfortable but a bit old fashioned. We were made very welcome by Alan and Tricia and had a very memorable walk in the evening with their collies in the pouring rain. I was particularly excited...
