We were finding it hard to book a family room in Ullapool and came across the Old Surgery on Trip Advisor. We stayed in room 5 which had a queen size bed and bunk beds. The room was quite large as well as the ensuite. The view was of the Tesco car park but that did not bother us as... More

Did the job, but this dated set up was not my cup of tea. We were in room 8 which is to the side of the house, no curtain for over the glass door so you feel exposed and of course it let the light in. Having said that It was clean and the bed comfy and breakfast okay.

Brilliant setting and very friendly welcome. The twin room was enormous with a double and single bed. The en-suite had a louvered door and an expelair which expelled into the bedroom through a frill of curtains over the double bed. Not a problem as the ceiling was very high, but very surprising to see the curtains wafting in the breeze.... More

The location of the house is really excelent, and the family room is wide and ideal for us (we travel with 2 kids). The breakfast was perfect with a lot of options to choose). I really recomend it.

It was very difficult finding a family room in Ullapool and we were delighted to find one in the end. We were even more delighted when we got there and saw how good it was. It is nice and spacious (bunkbead for the kids) although the view (Tescos Carpark) is not great it's within walking distance of the center and... More

My husband and I spent only one night here, but it was enough to realize that the Old Surgery Guesthouse was an excellent B&B! It has a good location in the town of Ullapool, on a streeet overlooking the water and yet a few minutes walk to the heart of the town. The room we had was at the back... More

Found this B&B by the water, not right downtown, but a block away from everything. Had a huge room on the first (in the UK, second in the US) floor with a small balcony and windows overlooking the bay. What a beautiful setting and the room was wonderful. Wish we could've stayed an extra night, as the town has plenty... More

Got stuck in Ullapool due to ferry cancellation and was lucky to book in here. Warm, clean and wonderful breakfast ( after 2 nights in a Glasgow city hotel this was heaven) They let me stay in the room longer than check out time I would stay here anytime. Good value
