What a find, lovely clean and tidy B&B with super Breakfasts.Stayed for a couple of nights in late April and we were made very welcome by the Owners June and Eugene. We used the guest house as a base to explore the area around Brecon. There are some nice walks straight from the front door, liked the one along the river... More

We stayed for three nights at New Hall Guest House. June was very friendly, warm and welcoming and cooked a mean breakfast for us each morning. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable and set in a town with more lovely eateries than we could believe. Lots of interesting spots to visit nearby as well - we've already started recommending... More

We stayed at New Hall Guest House in March 2013 and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very cosy and we felt really comfortable inside while the snow was coming down heavily outside. Breakfast was cooked to a very high standard exactly to our liking and we really enjoyed the fresh fruit and yoghurt and also the homemade... More

Thank you so much S W. So glad the snow didn't spoil your stay. Personally I love it when it snows here - so much nicer than in the city. Thank you also for being so complimentary about our breakfasts - we enjoy what we do and your appreciation makes it even more worthwhile. Hope to see you again. June... More

A wonderful B&B in a cute little town close Brecon Beacon national park. Very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. June was very helpful and gave us great advice on where to go and eat as we were a little unsure at times. The breakfast was lovely and we would love to go back again in the future.

This was our third stay at New Hall and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately I had got my dates mixed up and June was away herself when we were expecting to go! However, June went out of her way to try and sort things out for us (which led us to stay at Lledgwial - subject of another report!). New... More

We decided on a last-minute whim to go to Llanwrtyd Wells for New Year, as we had read about their midnight Celtic torch procession tradition. From the second we arrived at New Hall, we were made to feel like friends of the family rather than paying guests. What a wonderful, warm, welcoming family. The New Hall itself is a quirky... More

Hello - Thank you for your review and many apologies for taking so long to respond. Not good of me at all particularly when you have taken the time and trouble to be so nice about us and our crazy little town. We really enjoyed having you here for New Year especially as you were happy to have a late... More

All 4 people in the party thought this was a wonderful B&B. The welcome was warm, the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were delicious. It is situated on the edge of the town which means there is practically no noise at night. The walk into town takes only 3 minutes, maybe 5 if you stroll... More

Stayed two nights end of September with two friends from Canada, I had stayed before (x6) & everything was just as one would have hoped for in a warm, friendly, extremely comfortable stay. Breakfast was a feast of almost anything you would like and cooked to order, so hot.

We only stayed at New Hall for one night but I would happily have stayed longer. There are usually a few things that cause slight irritation when you stay at a B&B but that was not the case this time. Everything has clearly been thought through very carefully because everything that you could realistically expect was provided. The en suite... More
