The hostel must have been very recently renovated, everything looked spotless and new. Staff is very friendly. I brought a hiking group of 12 to El Chalten in late February, 2013. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and unlike some hostels, there was plenty of hot water for the showers. The lobby and lounge areas were comfortable. This is one of the nicest hostels I have visited.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in a double room shared bathroom-260 per night - very cheap for el chalten. The hostel has a hotel end that is much more modern and looked great, you get ensuite and breakfast included here. We were at the other end in the óld hostel area and also was really nice.... More

Very good hostel, clean, nice staff, good location in el chalten so a perfect base for exploring the mountains. The doubles are definitely not the cheapest we have stayed in at around 350 pesos but good value!

Very nice and helpful staff 24/7. They will help you organize tickets, trips and will advise nice places in town. I stayed in double room in new part of this hostel, room was clean and cosy. Tasty breakfast in the resteurant next to hostel. WiFi, TV, laundry service. Higly recommended!

Very kind & friendly staff, common kitchen, small rooms, worn out matress, clean, well located. Acceptable bikes can be rented here. Internet weak all over Chalten (noy hostels fault). If you are a backpacker this is the right place to be.
