We stayed in the apartment with two bedrooms, across the garden, not in the main rooms of the hotel. The hotel is lovely, and the apartment is great too, but it was SO noisy all night long, nobody was able to sleep AT ALL. This is the reason I give only 2 stars, otherwise I'd given it 4 or 5.

I stayed in this handsome well located B&B and found the building to be beautiful and the service friendly. It is well located in the town centre. San Antonio de Areco is a delightful little town and our stay at Posada De La Plaza made it even more perfect. We stayed for 4 nights and very much enjoyed the lovely house, the music, the very clean room, the comfortable bed, the colibris in the beautiful garden and the friendliness of the people who run the posada!

The hotel is overlooking a quiet little plaza in the heart of town but has its own exquisite garden with a bougainvillea. Basically, the inn is the former home of the grandmother of the current owners. The rooms have an old-world feel but are spotless. A real romantic getaway.
