Nata really should be a destination in its own right not just a stop over between Joberg and Chobe. The accommodation is first rate with newly built, spacious and air-conditioned chalets at a very reasonable rate. The food is good but fairly basic. We stayed in a luxury tent in Nata Lodge, which has a private outside shower. Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of mosquito's and temps can get very high, especially in the tent. Pleasant, well appointed rooms make this a comfortable experience. Rooms and grounds are clean and well kept. The outdoor (but private) shower is a nice "African" touch. Dining is quite nice with an excellent breakfast buffet. Mosquito nets are provided and should be used but do watch out for other bugs, especially LARGE spiders.
