We booked this last minute and it worked a treat as the staff are very friendly and informative. We booked our salt flats tour with la torre also which was fantastic. Ask for Eduardo to be the driver - great guy and always made sure we were ahead of the orher tour groups.

Just came back from a four day off road trip through Hotel La Torre which is a highlight in S.America. The four day out of Tupiza is better than the 3 day ones from Iyuni or Chile because the first night is spent in a tiny high pueblo with the local people, and then the drive on a rocky track... More

My boyfriend and I stumbled into La Torre hotel after an extremely negative experience at another hospedaje that we had been staying in for a few days prior. Actually, I shouldn't say we stumbled...we had read good things about La Torre and chose it from a few other options in Lonely Planet. The staff upon arrival was so incredibly helpful,... More

We just arrived home back in Canada – and couldn’t have been more pleased with our trip to Bolivia. My husband is a native of La Paz – but had never had the chance to explore the rest of his home country. What a treat it was! One of the highlights was taking a tour of the southwest circuit from... After reading lots of reviews we opted for La Torre´s 4 day / 3 night Tupiza to Uyuni tour and took a night bus from La Paz to specifically start our tour there. La Torre put 4 people in each 4WD (rarely 5, making it MUCH more comfortable) and you see the sights without the huge convoy of vehicles from... More

La Torre has some great people working! The 2 owners are very good in what they do; good english, info, kindness, understanding how we like it and very good employees! We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and did the 4 day tour to the saltlakes (Uyuni and surroundings). Our driver was an excellent driver, even when it was... More

There is not much to say about that hotel. The room was totally ok and everything was clean. The breakfast was alright, too. Good value, but nothing special.

A group of us are travelling South America at present and we are heading Northwards from Argentina to Bolivia. From reviewing the internet, we noticed alot of people decide to do the salt flat tours from Uyuni and San Pedro but we had also heard a few recommendations from Tupiza. So when we arrived in Tupiza, we looked around the... More

Hotel La Torre was a great hotel, clean, friendly helpful staff, and cheap. We also did the tour though La Torre it was just amazing. At first we only booked the tour but unfortunately our bus broke down, we lost one day of our tour and we ended up having to spend a night at the hotel. The were very helpful with the situation an it was all very nice and clean. And the tour... it was the best tour possible. The food was amazing,... More
