I've just arrived home after spending a week diving with a group of friends at Munda. We stayed at Agnes Lodge in a variety of accommodation styles. I stayed in a room with two single beds, ensuite & fan. It was comfortable & clean, serviced daily, and I was more than happy with it, considering the main purpose of our... More

The hotel is near the airstrip and consists of a row of good equipped and clean bungalows with view to the lagoon and some other accommodation in second row. Room rates were from 100 (no TV, no AC) to 140 AUD, very good veranda-restaurant with meals around 30 AUD. There is a hotel boat running once or twice a week... More

This is really the only option for accommodation in Munda unless you want to go homestay. The place is right on the water, the dive shop is contained in the lodge as well as a restaurant that has quite good food and does sell wine/alcohol. It really is a stop over point to get to other islands or if you... More

Chances are that if you're going to stay in Munda, you're going to stay at Agnes Lodge. It's almost the only option in town. (There is a small budget-only option across the road, but it's not as big or famous as Agnes'.) Agnes Lodge is a nice place with many different room options available - shared facilities to private little... More

Arrived this afternoon and had a really lovely swim. Went to the restaurant, waited an hour and a half for my fish of the day. We were the only people in the restaurant. When it arrived it was the worst meal I have ever been served. They refunded the cost. However we were not offered a replacement meal so therefore... More

The restaurant has nice food, cheap alcohol and a great view of the lagoon and all the incoming and departing boats. The rooms are basic, but the shared bathrooms (some have your own) have hot water, which is a big +!

We recently stayed here one night after getting stuck when our boat connection was delayed. We were very grateful as originally they were booked out and we were stranded. Rooms are comfortable and clean and food good. Great cold jugs of beer went down very well.

I stayed at Agnes lodge in mid-june 2012. I thought it was great. The staff, restaurant, and bar were all very good. Munda is off the beaten track and this hotel does a great job to make customers feel at home and comfortable.

Nicest place in Munda! Friendly staff and the owner is very nice. Also, all the best tours around Munda are out of Agnes Lodge. If you get a chance, stay on your own island just a 20 min boat ride away! There is a great house on the island. Also, Agnes is next to the Munda Market. There is lots... More

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Agnes Lodge. The staff are a real asset to the lodge and will always stop for a friendly chat, smile and warm welcome. We expected the lodge to be fairly basic but it exceeded our expectations and has all the comforts one would expect. We stayed in one of the cottages which were... More
