A lovely guesthouse for the occasional visitor, marked by beautiful design in the traditional Thai with a touch of old Burma! Very nice bedrooms and everything is very clean and tidy. Good value for short-term stays. Breakfast is limited in choice and not cooked / prepared on premises!

A well designed small hotel: warm brick and wood throughout, white gauzy curtains to block the view of the bed, and in the dining area, thick elevated curtains to offer shade while letting the space breathe. I just stayed at the Irawadee for three nights and was super impressed with the hotel accommodation and service. It's fairly new in town and well worth a visit. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff spoke good English and couldn't do enough to help. Great restaurant, Casa Mia, is just around the corner.
