14 of us arrived here from Bangkok as part of a Union study tour of the Thai-Burma border. This hotel was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. While there was no restaurant on site, they had beer, wine, softdrink and bottled water available after a long day. The beer was very cheap (half the price of Bangkok hotels). The rooms... More

We stayed in the VIP room which was spacious, very comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very good and served in an attractive outdoor area. The staff were helpful and always smiling. Casa Mia next door was great for food. From our point of view, as tourists, Mae Sot was a bit disappointing, but if you want to be there... More

A lovely guesthouse for the occasional visitor, marked by beautiful design in the traditional Thai with a touch of old Burma! Very nice bedrooms and everything is very clean and tidy. Good value for short-term stays. Breakfast is limited in choice and not cooked / prepared on premises!

This is a small hotel in the city centre. It was recommended by a local business contact and so I booked here, having stayed in a larger property on the outskirts on previous visits to Mae Sot. A very positive surprise, the rooms are air-conditioned, very clean, and overall well designed with an outdoor shower (that doesn't need to be... More

A well designed small hotel: warm brick and wood throughout, white gauzy curtains to block the view of the bed, and in the dining area, thick elevated curtains to offer shade while letting the space breathe. It's a little far from the market downtown, but quiet and peaceful. It's hard to find a motorbike taxi, but I rented a bicycle... More

I just stayed at the Irawadee for three nights and was super impressed with the hotel accommodation and service. It's fairly new in town and well worth a visit. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff spoke good English and couldn't do enough to help. Great restaurant, Casa Mia, is just around the corner.
