As for the hotel just go straight to the Kempinski if you want o go just for skiing or stay at the Fairmont all the way down the end of the resort area. Just like the Bansko ski-area, everything is geared towards being a cheaper but acceptable version of what you'd find in the much more expensive western Europe resorts. I go to Bansko very often and i was dissapointed from many hotel. Last time i visited Royal Towers and it was excellent. Now i know where i will stay next time.
