Not so good as Marriott at Dead Sea. Rooms smaller ,and service round pool almost non-existent. They apparently only had 4 mattresses for sun loungers. However, one of the most amazing views from a hotel pool!

We arrived around 6pm and watched the sun set. The view was spectacular and surroundings were quiet and peacefull! Nice looking pool. Before I write a review I should say that we stayed here in 2010. Things might have radically changed but I doubt it. My husband named this hotel the 'Ghetto Marriot' worst Marriot we have ever been to! Def not up to Marriot standards... Furniture, carpets, bedding very dated... Everthing is dated! We stayed her in November 2011 for 2 nights on a tour of Jordan organised through Trail Finders. The hotel is located out of the town and our room had fabulous views across the hills. The restaurant was really good, although quiet when we were there, staff friendly and everything as it should be.

This is a well located place in the middle of the Desert, close to the Red-Rose (Petra) city. The sights are breathtaking and the place is very convenient, specially if you come from Egypt by sea (a journey that takes several hours, specially because of passport and security control). Newly renovated rooms are stylish and comfortable. Has that wonderful Marriott bedding that makes you want to stay in bed for hours. Food is delicious at both on-premises restaurants, focusing mainly on Middle Eastern and Italian cuisine. And the view from the back of the hotel is phenomenal over the mountains.
