Great location, amazing views, helpful friendly staff, well run hotel, fabulous breakfast. Only marked down from 'Excellent' rating because of being asked to pay (not very much in fact-but not the point) for wi-fi access. In this day and age of wireless communications, shouldn't have been necessary. In fairness the duty manager explained this was being reviewed and was likely... More

A realy nice hotel with friendly quality service. May be one of the best places to stay when spending a few days in the Simon's Town, Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay area. In fact at least three days are needed to explore these three villages. Plenty restaurants, arts and crafts shops, gallerries, etc. We met up with Gideon, the manager... More

We've stayed with our 2 kids in the hotel for 2 nights and we loved it. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the view was amazing. The service is excellent. The breakfast is perfect and it is served in a very beautiful place. The staff are doing very small things but these things can make a difference, like... More

My husband and i spent a night here on a recent trip to Cape Town. What a lovely quiet hotel with huge, comfortable rooms. Off street parking which was great and it is very close to Boulders Beach if you want to visit the penguins. Fantastic restuarant down stairs with the best calamari and a spectacular harbour view.

I don't wish to go overboard in writing about this hotel but we stayed there for 3 weeks and could not find anything to criticize. Our room was large, clean,well-furbished with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Breakfast was extra , with lots of choice in delightful restaurant with super cooks. The staff on reception were always willing to help out,no matter... More

Stayed with my husband and two-year-old during easter weekend. One of very few places that allow children (not sure why children became threatening to hotels) very spacious rooms and the view SPECTACULAR! Absolutely worth staying at when in Simons' Town, right on the harbour, next to the Toy Museum and sculpture garden!

It's been a while since I was here, but I thought I should take the time to finally write my review. I loved the nautical theme of the hotel. The room was excellent. I had a nice little balcony with a couple of chairs overlooking the harbor, it was fantastic. The staff were very helpful, setting up my car rental,... More

Nicely kept and maintained property, with professionally stylized airy yachting interior, now has a breakfast room in the same clean bright style with exceptional service, If you are lucky enough you will be served there by Seyabonga who has the perfect manners and smile to start the morning, much better than last time when you had to go downstairs to... Nice hotel, nice big comfortable rooms, TV, kettle, shower and bath, etc. Simon's town was smaller than we had expected but there were a few decent restaurants so we had a nice dinner and breakfast. The hotel is right at the harbour, nice views. Very windy. We spent one night and that was enough we thought, we drove down to... More
