My wife and I stayed here one night in March and thoroughly enjoyed it. The surroundings were just like home, in the country and quiet. A bit out of town, but not too far. Just right. We took a short walk around the grounds in the morning after a grand breakfast and it just felt peaceful. It's not a modern... More

It's grand when you can find a place like Hundalee House that has history and a friendly proprietor. The grounds were very nice - a good place for a holiday in the country (there's nothing like waking in the morning to the sounds of bleating sheep). The only real complaint we had was with the floral scent that was used... More

WOW, what a setting, what a house, from the moment Poppy the puppy met us at the door till our final farewell, we could have not have been more welcomed. Shelia (good Aussie name!) met us at the door and showed us to our sumptuous rooms, our travelling companions overawed by the four-poster bed. Clean and well-appointed bathrooms, and that... More

A lovely old farmhouse, with a perfect location for exploring the Scottish border area. Even with the rain, we enjoyed ourselves, and would easily stay here again if we had the chance.

Travelled by bike and was welcomed by Sheila who could not have been anymore helpful. Beautiful house set in a breathe taking location, room was very comfortable and at breakfast we felt like Edward and Mrs Simpson in the beautiful dining room sat around a huge beautiful dining table. The homemade preserves and honey was excellent and the cooked breakfast... More

What a delightful, quiet country B&B. We stayed here for two nights while visiting the sights in the Borders, and were thoroughly charmed. The rooms were both quaint and comfortable, the amenities first rate, and Sheila (the owner) cheerful and accommodating. The breakfast was EXTRAORDINARILY good. I would recommend it for the breakfast alone.

My husband and I decided to return to Jedburgh, where we got married two years ago as an anniversary celebration. Hundalee House was most welcoming. A lovely four poster bed and excellent facilities. Sheila was a great host, Poppy the dog was so friendly alongwith Sammy and Daisy the two peacocks, Sammy who perched on the roof to say good... More

We stayed at this bed & breakfast for three days and found the hosts to be extremely helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Enjoyed the lovely room they put us in as well as the beautiful views. The gardens are a joy to walk around and the town and surrounding areas has some great places to... More
