Strathyre is one of the most beautiful villages in Scotland. We stayed here for a night for a break on our travels. The room was a double at the top of the hotel. It was clean and tidy but freezing .The en suite was clean and did the job.The hotel has a good history and the owners will tell you about it if... I stayed at the Munro Inn in September, 2012. My friend and I had a wonderful time. Tony and Diane were the sweetest people and really made us feel welcome. We were able to travel all over from this location and it made the trip even better. The rooms are not luxury but warm and cozy. The locals were also... More

The first impression of this hotel/hostel is maybe one of 'fading grandure'- a wee bit past its best days - but who cares about first impressions? I'm glad I stayed because the second impression is definitely best. I agree with the last reviewer. If you are a hotel snob - go and find a 5 star option somewhere else. But... More

My fiancee and i stayed here for 3 days last October, it was a last minute get-away and was good value for money. People need to remember that this isnt a 5* hotel, you get what you pay for. Yes, it may look a bit dated & in need of some TLC but it was cheap, cheerful & clean. The... More

The smell was the first thing I noticed entering the hotel, like old chip fat. Our room had obviously been recently decorated and looked very nice, however the lovely curtain didn't cover the whole window which was a problem as soon as the sun came up, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in and the... Its a nice place to stay. The staffs are pretty helpful and jolly. Food was really nice with good quantities but the dinning area need a bit of TLC. Would surely recommend to people who are not very fussy and looking for a cost effective nice place to stay.

Stayed one night, room clean with great view and comfy bed. Staff go overboard to make you welcome and meet your needs never experienced such quality in that department. Great entertainment in the evening.
