We spent two glorious nights here. Have stayed and eaten at other Michelin starred places and this is the best! Fantastic views across Lochinver harbour to Suilven from 4 poster. Food was delicious and the atmosphere peaty and cosy. No pretention just perfection.

An unforgettable evening with splendid service and astonishing food. For a special meal it was real value for money. The staff and location are wonderful, and we ended with a great chat with the chef-proprietor, who has no business being as nice as he is. We can't wait until our next visit. Everything about this place is just fantastic, we really enjoyed a few pre dinner drinks in front of the roaring log fire before siting down to a display of culinary excellence. The welcome was warm, the food was superb; I particularly enjoyed the halibut mousseline with lobster bisque, but it was all excellent and they have a great wine list. The food is not overfussy and they have some great accompaniments, such as the intensely flavoured purple potatoes.
