We (family with two teenagers) went on a 3 day canoe / camping trip in the Algonquin with Voyager Quest. Our guide was excellent - managing to cater for all the group (8) along with organising the equipment and the camping. Despite the weather (mostly wet) the mosquitoes and the physical effort canoing (and carrying) we all had a great... More

This past weekend we had our annual girlie getaway and 13 of us stayed in the Log Cabin @ Algonquin Park (run by Voyaguer Quest). This is our 4th year booking w/Voyageur Quest and 2nd time staying at the Log Cabin. I love that we can have a catered meal on the Saturday so all of the ladies can chill... More

I had a great and magical experience at the Algonquin Park cabin held by Voyageur Quest. The log cabin is idealic at Christmas for a roaring log fire and snowy experience encompassing relaxation, great food, and the right balance of outdoor activities. The chef made amazing cakes and pastries and our guide was fun, informative and helpful. It was also... More

This was our first trip to Canada and we wanted to do something special as we were re-uniting with our 'children' after almost 12 months apart. Voyageur Quests' Algonquin Christmas package certainly did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the pace was unhurried and we were able to take part in as many, or as few, snow activities as... More

We happened upon the Log Cabin Christmas package while trying to plan an exciting Christmas experience for our Japanese exchange student while he was in Canada. We hit the jackpot with Voyageur Quest, with fabulous ambiance, plenty of snow, every winter activity in the book, and very comfortable accommodations. Joe's food was great - excellent home cooked meals, and lively... More

I went on this trip in September - was perfect timing as there were no bugs, the weather was perfect for hiking and canoeing and the log cabin was super cozy and warm at night! The guides were amazing, the cooking was amazing, the scenery was, you got it, amazing! I would come back to the log cabin again and... More

We did the 5-day canoe and lodge - 3 days of canoeing in Algonquin Park (camping for 2 nights) and 2 nights at the log cabin, on the edge of the park. Given we didn't have canoeing expertise and are not experienced campers it was the ideal way to explore the park and its surroundings. On the canoe trip we... More

We stayed at the log cabin in August. There were many positive aspects to our trip, and unfortunately, a few negatives, which took a bit of the shine off our experience. We are an outdoorsy family, so we certainly enjoyed the rustic feeling of the lodge. The food was fantastic and the staff were great (quite knowledgeable and friendly)! We... More

My husband and I stayed at the Algonquin Log Cabin for 3 days and 2 nights. We decided to meet everyone at the cabin instead of hiking in since we were looking for more of a relaxing vacation. When we arrived on Monday there was just one person there- Becky, who was super friendly and made us a nice lunch... More
