I used to work here back when it was The Red Lion in 1987: still a great hotel with excellent service. Just invited 15 family memebers over for breakfast at the cafe and had better service than many 5 star hotels. Nice people, close to everything, you can't go wrong staying here!
I am also baffled by the negative reviews. Yes, this is an older hotel but the rooms are updated and clean, the staff is friendly and the beds are comfortable. I stayed here one night in April on a Spring Break trip with my two kids, aged 5 and 8, because it was convenient and I got a good price....

My business partners and I stay here once a week and have ha no problems besides the noise from the fwy until today! I woke up with little bed bugs on me!!! So disgusting! Although we get a discount at this hotel I will never be able to stay here again. Bed bugs are unacceptable!!!!!! That's so dirty and disgusting...

Stayed here for a conference. Room was very nice. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Only a few eating places within walking distance and no grocery stores in the area. My only other advice is that this location is right off the 99 at Highway 58 and has many hotel chains near by. Shop around to get the best deal.

You get the idea that this hotel was once "the place" for business meetings, with its large open resaurant layout and many meeting rooms. But that was probably 30 years ago. Pros: offered a two room option for a family, room size is great, has a balcony overlooking the pool Cons: wallpaper coming off the wall, air conditioner didn't work and had to be fixed, irregular water pressure, sink drains slowly.
