We stayed here one night and was surprised at how large and nice the room was. There were many resturants close by and close to the freeway, but, no road noise. There was a pool out back and there was a very nice breakfast in the morning.

Stayed there on a trip south and place was ok (or good for the price). Nothing special to report. Rooms were big, little outdated, but clean and nice enough. Freeway (99) is close and you hear road noise.

We only had an overnight but everything was great, hotel staff were pleasent and helpful. Hot breakfast was served that was good to start the day; I would stay there again if i was passing that way.

We were quite pleased with the room. When we called down for additional bath towels and pillows, they arrived within minutes with the gentleman asking if we needed anything else. The Holiday Inn Express is a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel just off highway 99 in Bakersfield.
