On University Ave, good location. Dog-friendly. King-size headboard with double bed, only one washcloth because "busy weekend" and very noisy. Shower on floor above sounded like it was running down our wall. This place needs to be completely rehabbed.
This has been several different hotel names, and I stayed at it many years ago under some of those names, IT'S NEVER IMPROVED! I'm not trying again. They need to gut this completely and start over. It has uneven floors and window cracks (it's earthquake country after all) and tons of badly done 'renovations' (on the cheap). Seems like La...

I stayed at this La Quinta recently because of its attractive price and its close location to an office I was working with. As others have posted, this is an older property and is not up to the level of quality of other LQ’s that have undergone renovations. While my room (not a suite) was larger than a standard room...

This is the 3rd time I've stayed here - same problem every time - Wi-Fi strength is weak to none. Only reason I stayed this time is that I thought they would have this fixed by now. Boy, was I wrong! While most of our stay at the hotel was good the hotel fell short in two areas. Internet never worked even after 3 calls to their tech support and front desk. Housekeeping failed to give us bath towels and it was not noted until after I took a shower.
On the plus side the breakfast was ample and good, the...

Good size room, clean, comfy beds. No fridge of microwave in our room. Our room had a balcony with a nice french door to open to fresh air. Good location on University St. Good access to freeway and Berkeley University. Good breakfast with lots of seating. No real complaints - just an average motel. I'd stay here again.
Very nice hotel, good rooms with AC. Good Wifi. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants etc. nearby.
at first I thought this was a nice place, but the first night I killed a bed bug. I was so tired I went back to sleep. The next day i changed beds because I had a room with two beds. around 1am i killed another bed bug this time i decided to save it and show it to the...
