Stayed here while our son checked out UC Berkeley. Place needs major overhauling. Rooms were smelly and could use updating. People at front desk were not very pleasant. Have stayed at many La Quinta's and they are usually great, especially for the money. This one falls short.

When we got to the hotel the front desk was accommodating since our booking through exPedia had not yet come through. However that completely pales in comparison to the bathroom.
