Great location, attractive but terrible service. No communication between departments. Poor attitudes. Would have expected much higher level of service.

The hotel was clean and fresh and had great staff. One of the front desk staff (Josh Bryan) lent me his personal cell phone charger when mine was locked in the rental car and I didn't have the keys. Such a nice place to stay in Berkeley. Walk to the campus, Telegraph Street, Bart, short drive to other places we wanted to go in East Bay. You might find it odd to complain about a bathroom door, however if you are traveling with friends or your teenage/adult children..............a CLEAR bathroom door (with no privacy film) is super awkward. Hotel was ok to good. Really a 3.5. We got a good room rate for the 4 night stay so I gave it a 4 rather than a 3. Very noisy - poor if any sound insulation. Room was nice but small. Location was great.
